How do you ensure the seafood stays fresh during shipping?

We pack our seafood in high-quality insulated coolers with specialized gel ice packs designed to maintain optimal temperatures for up to 48 hours. Every order is shipped via overnight delivery to ensure it arrives at your doorstep as fresh as the day it was caught.

Where does your seafood come from?

The majority of our seafood is sourced directly from the cold, clean waters of the Gulf of Maine. We work closely with local fishermen and harvesters in Portland and surrounding coastal communities to provide the highest quality sustainable products.

Do I need to be home to sign for my delivery?

No, a signature is generally not required for our deliveries. However, because our products are perishable, we strongly recommend that you retrieve your package and refrigerate or freeze the contents as soon as possible after delivery.

What is your return policy for perishable food?

Due to the perishable nature of seafood, we cannot accept returns. However, your satisfaction is our priority. If there is an issue with the quality or condition of your order upon arrival, please contact us within 24 hours with photos so we can make it right.

Can I freeze the seafood once it arrives?

Most of our fresh seafood can be frozen if you do not plan to consume it within 1-2 days. We recommend vacuum sealing or tightly wrapping the product to prevent freezer burn. Please note that live shellfish like lobsters and clams should never be frozen alive.

When is the deadline for next-day shipping?

Orders placed by 10:00 AM EST Monday through Thursday are typically eligible for next-day delivery. Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends will be processed on the next available shipping day to ensure maximum freshness.
